Tavarnelle, in Italian means tavern, and this quaint town of Tavarnelle Val Di Pesa is tucked away in the beautiful Chianti countryside amongst the Tuscan hills. It is perfectly situated between the major cities of Florence and Siena and is known for its monasteries and churches.
Your stay will be at the classy Borgo Di Cortefreda overlooking the picturesque vineyards and olive groves of Chianti. You will find the views from the terrace simply stunning!
The Culinary Courses
Your cooking lessons are led by the young but highly experienced Chef Alessio Ceccherini. You will learn a complete seasonal, traditional Tuscan meal from the appetizer to the full entrée using local and organic ingredients. Cooking lessons in the Chianti would be incomplete without its famous wines and Chef Alessio will teach you to pair the foods with the correct wines.
